Content & Digital Marketing Strategist – with Technical Documentation Expertise

About the Role

Our client, 247 Tech, is seeking to fill the position of Content & Digital Marketing Strategist. This position is designed for a dynamic individual who can not only craft compelling digital content and execute marketing strategies but also produce and manage high-quality technical documentation and internal marketing materials.

This role requires a strong grasp of digital marketing channels, content planning, and the ability to convert complex product features into clear, effective communication. The strategist will work across departments—including sales, technical, and product teams—to ensure all digital and documentation efforts align with the company’s strategic goals.

Job Purpose

The Content & Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing and executing integrated content strategies that include customer-facing content, internal communication tools, and technical documentation. This individual will shape the company’s online and offline presence, drive traffic and lead generation, and support product understanding through well-developed sales and product literature.

Roles and Responsibilities

Content Creation and Management

  • Produce high-quality, audience-appropriate content for the company’s website, blogs, and social media platforms.
  • Lead the development of technical and product documentation such as product datasheets, brochures, FAQs, whitepapers, case studies, and internal manuals.
  • Coordinate with technical and product teams to convert complex product details into clear, value-focused content.
  • Maintain internal communication assets including branded templates, internal presentations, letterheads, envelopes, and employee ID cards.
  • Ensure brand voice and messaging are maintained consistently across all customer-facing and internal documents.

Digital Marketing

  • Drive and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies in collaboration with OEM/Technology partners, channel partners, and clients.
  • Manage digital campaigns (email marketing, PPC, SEO/SEM, social media, and lead generation).
  • Optimize website content and structure to improve SEO and enhance organic visibility.
  • Analyze digital marketing metrics and adjust strategies based on performance data.
  • Engage audiences across social platforms and increase followers and engagement using both paid and organic tactics.

Performance Measurement and Reporting

  • Track and analyze performance of digital campaigns and content initiatives, reporting results and insights to leadership.
  • Achieve a 25% year-on-year increase in website traffic and 25% improvement in SEO ranking for targeted keywords.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of all marketing collaterals and technical documents using measurable KPIs.
  • Continuously iterate based on analytics, user feedback, and campaign performance.

Technical Documentation & Internal Communications

  • Develop, maintain, and version-control technical documentation used by internal teams and clients.
  • Work closely with the product team to stay informed about feature updates and system changes.
  • Create and standardize internal communications to align staff with company updates, policies, and procedures.

Communication and Brand Consistency

  • Maintain a consistent and professional brand image across all channels and documents.
  • Manage email communications related to upselling, cross-selling, and client updates.
  • Develop at least 5 partner-facing content pieces per quarter, including case studies, collaboration summaries, or co-branded assets.
  • Maintain detailed records of client communications, contracts, and marketing activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related area is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar content and marketing role.
  • Prior experience in technical writing or documentation is strongly preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in Digital Marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, or Technical Communication are highly desirable.

Skills Required

  • Proven ability to manage both promotional and technical content with accuracy and clarity.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, content strategy, and campaign execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation for SaaS, IT, or technology services is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in content planning tools, SEO platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics dashboards.
  • Strong analytical, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for marketing initiatives when required.
