Job Description

Liviva Group Limited (LGL) is a Human Resource Consultancy Company registered in Kenya as a Limited Company. LGL seeks the services of a HR Assistant to be based in its Nairobi Office. The successful candidate will perform a variety of HR-related and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have generalist, hands-on HR experience in a busy environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment: Posting job advertisements, screening candidates, administering initial & behavioral interviews, conducting assessments, scheduling panel interviews and follow up communication with candidates regarding their interview process and results.

  2. Management of LGL’s work plan and calendar. This includes scheduling competing tasks to meet the needs of various clients.

  3. Management of LGL’s external communication such as the help desk and responses to various inquiries from employers and employees.

  4. Performing HR generalist tasks on behalf of LGL’s clients. These range from recruitment, policy development, templates processing, work permit processing, payroll management & administration, whistleblower system management, team building, research among others.

  5. On-site HR support for various functions such as trainings, team building exercises, redundancy management, grievance handling among others.

  6. Scheduling and administering surveys to clients.

  7. Scheduling career coaching and interview preparation sessions for clients.

  8. Office administration work such as processing licenses and documents for the company, filing documents, paying bills on time, initiating the billing process, management of petty cash, renewing licenses and contracts, etc.

  9. Encoding information into the database in an accurate and timely manner using the company’s software.

  10. Supporting part time staff and consultants to discharge their duties.

Qualifications

  1. A degree in human resource management

  2. At least 2 years working in a HR Consultancy firm or in a busy generalist HR function

  3. Self-motivated, organized and self-driven

  4. Ability to produce high quality work

  5. Excellent communication skills.
